South east Asia has some of most beautiful nations in the world. The region has some of most dense jungles, spectacular islands and beaches and cuisine that appeal to one and all.

The largest flower, orangutans, monkeys and a host of insects and reptiles are found apart from the most colourful birds.
Rice is the staple food for many while different form of noodles are also widely eaten. The cuisine is basically sweet-sour and a bit spicy at times.

Dikir barat is a musical form, native to the Malay Peninsula, that involves singing in groups—often in a competitive setting—and almost always without instrumental accompaniment. While it is uncertain whether dikir barat originated in Thailand or Malaysia, the Malaysian government today actively promotes it as an important part of the Malaysian national culture. |
