DELHI - the capital of kingdoms and empires is now a sprawling metropolis with a fascinating blend of the past and the present. It is a perfect introduction to the composite culture of an ancient land. Head to crowded bazaars of Old Delhi.

OLD DELHI- Old Delhi was established by Mughal Emperon and the streets are narrow and bustling.

Raj Ghat- the cenotap site where the father of Nation Mahatma Gandhi was cremated, Jama Masjid- architectural monument built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. Jama Masjid is the city's oldest and largest mosque.

DELHI - JAIPUR

Morning after breakfast, travel to Jaipur by 0830 hrs. Check in to the hotel for 02 nights and proceed  sightseing in Jaipur.

JAIPUR - the fabled "Pink City" of the desert named after Jai Singh, the former Maharaja of Jaipur. Jaipur is the picturesque capital of Rajasthan. It was first planned city in India, beautifully laid out gardens and parks, attractive monuments and marvelous heritage hotels, which were once the residence of Maharajas, are worthy of administration. Jaipur is an enthralling historical city and the gateway of India's most flamboyant state.

JAIPUR

After breakfast at hotel proceed to   visit Hawa Mahal and Jantar Mantar.

JANTAR MANTAR - The Jantar Mantar is an equinoctial sundial, consisting a gigantic triangular gnomon with the hypotenuse parallel to the Earth's axis. On either side of the gnomon is a quadrant of a circle, parallel to the plane of the equator. The instrument is intended to measure the time of day, correct to half a second and declination of the sun and the other heavenly bodies. The words Jantar and Mantar ( or yantra and mantra) means calculation instrument.

HAWA MAHAL - "Palace of Winds" is a papce in Jaipur, India, so naed because it was essentially a high screen wall built so the women of the royal household could observe street festivals while unseen from the outside. Constructed of red and pink sandstones the palace sits on the edge of the city palace, and extends to the Zenana, or women's chambers. The palace is a firv storey pyramidal shaped monument that rises 50 feet from its high base. The top three floors of the structuee have a dimension of one room width while the first and second floors have patios in front of them. The front elevation, as seen from the street, is like a honeycomb web of a beehive, built with small portholes.

JAIPUR - AGRA

After breakfast at hotel, travel to Agra (242 km). Check in to the hotel and proceed sightseeing in Agra.

AGRA - is a medieval city on the banks of Yamuna River was founded by Sultan Sikandar Lodi in 1956. It achieved fame as the capital of the Mughal emperors from 1526 to 1658 and remains a major tourist destination because of its many splendid Mughal-era buildings, most notably the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Fatehpur Sikri, all three of which are UNESCO World Heritage sites.

AGRA - DELHI

Morning from Delhi airport board flight to Kathmandu. Upon reaching Kathmandu, travel to Pokhara.Check in to the hotel and rest of the time liesure .

Pokhara is a city on Phewa Lake, in central Nepal. It’s known as a gateway to the Annapurna Circuit, a popular trail in the Himalayas. Tal Barahi Temple, a 2-story pagoda, sits on an island in the lake. On the eastern shore, the Lakeside district has yoga centers and restaurants. In the city’s south, the International Mountain Museum has exhibits on the history of mountaineering and the people of the Himalayas.

POKHARA

After breakfast proceed to sightseen in pokhara is a sub-metropolitan and the second largest city of Nepal as well as the headquarters of Kaski District, Gandaki Zone and the Western Development Region. It is located 200 km west of the capital Kath,andu. Despite being a comparatively smaller valley than Kathmandu, its geography varies dramatically within just few kilometres from north to south. The city has a humid subtropical climate; however, the elevation keeps temperatures moderate. Pokhafa lies on an important ald trading route between China and India. Early morning day excursion to sarangakot to see the sunrise & Mr. Fishtail & Himalaya.

HIMALAYA - The Himalayan range has the Earth's highest peak, including the highest, Mount Everest. The Himalayas include over a hundred mountains exceeding 7,200 metres in elevation. The Himalayas are spread across five countries. Bhuyan, India, Nepal, People's republic of China, and Paksitan, with the first three countries having sovereignty over most of the range.

KATHMANDU - Kathmandu is the capital and largest municipality of Nepal. It also hosts the headquarters of the South Asian Association for Regional Co-operation (SAARC). Kathmandu is the gateway to tourism in Nepal. Most of Kathmandu's people follow Hinduism and many others follow Buddhism. There are people of other religious beliefs as well, giving Kathmandu a cosmopolitan culture. Nepali is the most commonly spoken language in the city. Visit Swayambhunath.

SWAYAMBHUNATH - is an ancient religious architecture atop a hill in the Kathmandu Valley, west of Kathmandu city. The Tibetan name for the site means 'Sublime Trees', for the many varieties of trees found on the hill. The Swayambhunath complex consists of a Stupa, a variety of shrines and temples, some dating back to the Licchavi period. According to Swayambhu Purana, the entire valley was once filled with an enormous lake, out of which grew a lotus. The valley came to be known as Swayambhu, meaning "Self-created".

THIMPHU

Morning after breakfast, visit Dechen Phodrang Monastery, Tashichho Dzong, Gangteng Monastery.

DECHEN PHODRANG MONASTERY - Dechen Phodrang meaning "Palace of Great Bliss" is a Buddhist monastery in Thimphu, Bhutan. It is located to the north of the city. The monastery contains a number of important hisgorical Bhutanese artifacts including 12th century paintings monitored by UNESCO and a noted statue of Shabdrung Namgyal on the upper floor. In the downstairs chapel, there is a central Sakyamuni Buddha.

TASHICHHO DZONG - Tashichho Dzong is a Buddhist monastery and fortress on the northern edge of the city of Thimphu in Bhutan, on the western bank of the Wang Chu. It has traditionally been the seat of the Druk Desi, the head of Bhutan's civil government, an office which has been combined with the kingship since the creation of monarchy in 1907, and summer capital of the country. There are thirty temples, chapels and shrines within Tashichho Dzong.

GANGTENG MONASTERY - The Gangteng monastery generally known as Gangteng Gonpa or Gangteng Monastery, is an important monastery of Nyingmapa school of Buddhism, the main seat of the Pema Lingpa tradition, located in the Wangdue Phodrang District in central Bhutan. The monastery is one of the main seats of the religious tradition based on Pena Lingpa's revelations and one of the two main centres of the Nyingmapa school of Buddhism in the country.
