Khajuraho is a city in Madhya Pradesh, famous for its ancient temples built between 950 and 1050 AD.This group of temples in Khajuraho is considered as World Heritage site by UNESCO. 22 out of 75 temples are there at present. During this tour, you will be able to enjoy two overnight train tours. One you will take from Delhi to Khajuraho and another while returning from Khajuraho back to Delhi.
Arrive, Delhi by flight/ train. Upon arrival meet & greet by globes travel representative and assist transfer to the hotel (for wash and clean). Later proceed for sightseeing tour of New Delhi where ornate buildings recall the days when India was the Jewel in the crown of the British Empire. Visit the 11th century Qutab Minar, India Gate and the grand government buildings, the President’s House, Mahatma Gandhi Memorial. Also visit Laxmi Narayan temple popularly known as Birla Temple. Check out from hotel. At night, transfer to the railway station to board an overnight train to Khajuraho.
Arrive at Khajuraho by train. Upon arrival meet & greet by globes travel representative and assist transfer to the hotel. Relax a while and later visit sound and light show at Khajuraho.
Sound & Light Show: The Light and Sound show on the Western Group of temples complex the reminds the life and times of the great Chandela Kings and mark out the story of the exclusive temples from the 10th Century to the present day. The 50-minute fascinating show is held in every evening and it runs in Hindi and in English.
Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
After Morning breakfast at the hotel. Depart for the return journey from Khajuraho airport or railway station.
